Addison Hanna

Hanna began her collegiate softball career at Midwestern State University(NCAA-D2-Lonestar) in Wichita Falls, Texas, before transferring to Southwestern Christian University (NAIA-SAC) in Bethany, Oklahoma, her final two years. While at SCU, she recorded a combined 4.98 ERA and a .335 batting average. She was twice named a Sooner Athletic Conference Second Team Utility Player and played a key role in leading the Eagles to consecutive NCCAA World Series appearances. In her senior season, she helped the team finish as National Championship Runner-Up and was named to the NCCAA All-Tournament Team.

A native of Lawton, Oklahoma, Addison Hanna is a graduate of Duke High School, where she excelled as a multi-talented athlete under Head Coach, Ken Morrell. As a senior in 2019, she was named an OSSAA All-State Utility Player after posting a 2.70 ERA over 27 starts, recording 143 strikeouts in 132 1/3 innings, and batting .443. Her performance helped lead the Tigers to a 22–3 record, a conference championship, and a state quarterfinal appearance.

Hanna graduated Magna Cum Laude from SCU with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Hanna is the youngest of three siblings, with two older brothers, Zack and Marc Hanna, who both played collegiate football—Zack at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Marcheenan at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Hanna’s parents, Jack and Traci Hanna, have dedicated over 25 years to education, serving in various roles within Lawton Public Schools and at Cameron University.
