Cisco College is proud to announce several Cisco College North Volleyball players receiving Region V North Volleyball Awards.
Coach Taylor and the Lady Wrangler kick off their season October 29th at 5pm against Hardin Simmons University in Cisco.
Volleyball finished their season this past weekend at the Regional tournament. The Wranglers would drop their first match to NCTC Friday morning before coming back to defeat Temple College on Friday evening. This would set up a rematch with NCTC and would culminate with the team coming up just short in a 3-1 loss to end their season. Hill College would go on to win the tournament and will host the winner of Region 1 in a District match November 9th at 7:00pm in Hillsboro.
Cisco College Cowboys and Cowgirls participated in their last Fall Season rodeo at theTexas Tech NIRA Rodeo.
Women's Basketball opened up the season with a win over Texas Wesleyan 67-59 on Friday. The Wranglers would drop the next game to Jacksonville College 64-60. After Cisco dominating for most of the game, Jacksonville would take advantage of a couple breaks, and the Wranglers youth to mount a comeback in the 4th quarter.
The Lady Wrangler Softball team is almost done with Fall Games but that doesn't stop them from working out. Sophomore Cierra Martinez leads by example with tire flips during yesterdays indoor obstacle course.
The Lady Wrangler Volleyball team went point for point in last nights game against Ranger College. Both teams were fighting for the last Regional Tournament spot.
Cisco College Softball team enjoying some "Kid Time"
The Lady Wrangler Volleyball team filled the gymnasium with Cisco blue and pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Wranglers played a really tough match last night, dropping a heart breaker in 5 sets, BUT, the big win Monday would prove to be enough to get the Wranglers into the Region V North tournament. They will play next weekend at Cedar Valley College. 10am against North Central.
The Lady Wrangler Volleyball team went on a 10-0 run at North Central Texas College in the first five minute of playing. Both teams battled until the end. Cisco won the first set by two points but couldn't get a big enough run to hold on for the next three games. Lady Wranglers will be traveling to Temple College on Thursday and to Ranger College on Monday to fight for the last regional spot.
Football would travel to Blinn College and show their road warrior ways by defeating the previously 20th ranked Bucs, 47-44. The victory would push the Wranglers back inside the top 20 to #18. The Wranglers have now beaten two ranked opponents on the road this year. Cisco will host top 25 Tyler Junior College this Saturday at 3:00pm in this weeks Homecoming Game.
Cisco puts up a fight, but fell short again to Hill in last weeks game at the Home Depot. The Lady Wranglers leave tomorrow for two game trip in Louisiana.

Women's Basketball has been working hard this pre-season getting ready for the upcoming season starting in November. Coach Taylor stated that "There are quite a few new faces this season with only 3 returning from last year. Chade Gladney, Arriana Manzay, and Ariel Gutierrez all return from last years squad and are looking to build on the 18 wins from last season. This group is young, exciting, and should really be fun to watch!!"
Cisco Softball team had a long weekend full of softball. The Lady Wranglers finished the weekend off with a 1-3-1 record. The Cisco Softball team will have this weekend off for fundraising.

The injury plagued Wrangler football would go on the road and lose a tough game to Trinity Valley last Saturday, with multiply starters out, including QB Blain Kruemcke for the second week in a row. The injuries and the Cardinals would prove too much to overcome.
The Wranglers will host New Mexico Military Institute this Saturday at 3:00pm.
The Lady Wranglers had the weekend off from softball but worked extremely long hours at the O'Reiley 500 Race at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. The girls were assigned to a Suite and served as attendees and runners for main chefs.
Cisco College Lady Wranglers Volleyball team hosted Southwestern Christian college and swept them three to none. The Lady Wranglers next game is Monday night at Cisco College against Odessa College at 6pm.
The Cisco College football team falls short to Navarro College. After last weeks victory over the #2 Kilgore College, the Wranglers couldn't keep the momentum going and fell to 3-1 for the season and will be traveling to Trinity Valley Community College for a 3pm kickoff.
The Wranglers took on Garden City Community College in a non conference matchup this past Saturday, September 21st. Cisco took the momentum early and never relinquished it as they took the victory 2-0.
Wranglers led 1-0 at halftime from a goal by Kate Recendez, her 6th on the season.
Alexandria Rodriguez netted the second goal of the game from a direct kick, her second goal of the season, to push the Wranglers through the second half and take the victory.
Wranglers will take on Navarro College this Friday at 2pm at Chesley Field and Blinn college Sunday at 2pm.
Cisco College Softball played a double header both Saturday and Sunday. After losing to Howard College Saturday, the Lady Wranglers came in Sunday to beat the Hurricanes 12-6 and Midland College 11-3. Lauren Aleman and Sara Papizan each had two home runs while Ashley Vinton had a three-run homer.
