Alex Havlicek is entering his first year at Cisco.
Prior to joining the Wranglers coaching staff, Coach Havlicek was the pitching coach at Howard College in Big Spring, TX.
A highly toubted prospect coming out of New Jersey, Havlicek began his career at Virginia Tech, tallying 5 innings, striking out 8. Havlicek transferred to Howard College, where he went 3-0 with a 1.62 ERA in four appearances, striking out in 16.2 innings, thus earning him a scholarship at Sam Houston State. For the Bearkats, Havlicek made 14 appearances out of the bullpen, finishing with a 5.40 ERA in 16.2 innings, striking out 15 hitters. Havlicek would transfer to UTRGV for his final season.
Havlicek graduated from Indian Hills High School (Oakland, NJ), where he earned varsity letters all four years. There, he was awarded numerous All-County, All-Conference, and All-League honors. Havlicek was selected to participate in the 2018 East Coast Pro Games and the 2018 Area Code Games, earning the honor of being the 89th RHP in the nation, according to Perfect Game.
Coach Havlicek will serve as the pitching coach for the Wranglers, and also help with recruiting.

- Racked up season-high four strikeouts in 1.2 innings vs. Clemson
- Threw 2.2 scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win in upset of No. 13 TCU at the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Minute Maid Park
- #4 ranked RHP out of H.S. in New Jersey (#89 Nationally) according to Perfect Game
