Daryl Watt

Daryl Watt joined the Cisco College football staff in March 2023 as Defensive Line Coach. He was elevated to Co-Defensive Coordinator in July 2024. Along with his on-the-field duties, Watt serves as the Wranglers' Director of Equipment Operations.

During the fall of 2024, Watt's group managed sixteen sacks in nine games. Both Brandon McGruder (DE) and Christopher Campbell (DT) received All-SWJCFC honors. 

Watt's first season on the Hill came in the fall of 2023, which saw his unit register twenty-one sacks in nine games. Two of his defensive linemen earned All-SWJCFC recognition, with Daniel Anenih (DE) and Samuel Odelami (DT) being named First-Team and Honorable Mention. Anenih went on to sign with Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. In total, eight of Watt's players signed with four-year institutions. 

Watt joined the staff after serving as both an undergraduate and graduate assistant coach at the University of Arkansas-Monticello (DII). From 2017-20, he held various roles with the Boll Weevils, assisting with equipment, video, and the defensive coaching staff. He was then asked to remain on-staff with UAM and serve as a graduate assistant working with the defensive line. He held that position from 2021-22.

Watt is originally from Monroe, Louisiana. He graduated from the University of Arkansas-Monticello with a B.S. Health and Physical Education. He and his wife, Marissa, reside in Eastland.
